SS No. 0100140276

this is one of the famous folktale from Wambon tribe ( Distric Manggelum_Bovendigoel- Papua. have a nice fun!

In the days of eternity there lived an old man whose wife had died, his name was Ndumop. And he had a son whose name was Kiliwiptop. Kiliwiptop have got married. They lived in a place called Saup Anamtaop (combination between Saup and Anamtaop.  Which is Saup means name of the river, and Anamtaop means the name of the shrine which is located on the banks of Saup River). One day they had a party and invited many people from various directions of village, for the purpose of harvest festival.  And at the same time, they wanted to have banana-heart arrowed competition.  The name of banana-heart was Mbawot. And it is one of their crops. At the time of the invited guests had arrived and did the competition, Mr. Ndumop’s son whose name was   Kiliwiptop had been hunt. The competition lasts for one day. And when the competition was in progress, he came home from hunting. He returned home but not arrived.  He went towards the path of people did arrows. By the time he appeared on the scene, people told him that “you should not stand in the direction of the arrow”. But he was determined to remain standing in one place. He was warned three times. The first, they said "you look out of the way; you will be affected by the arrows". But he did not move. The second time from archers, but he did not hear. And again the same words spoken for the three times, but still he did not move. And the end there was a sniper archer Kelopbumbanop (meant the person who has no eyes) whose name was, shot an arrow on him and he was struck. And the guests said that "we have banned him so that he stays away, but he still insisted and would not move away. Therefore he was struck ". And the result they canceled the party. And they brought his corpse to   his father's house.
And the next day, the body was buried in a way to make a raft on the wood of resins. And it’s not far from home and placed on a raft.  (Previously   the man had got married but did not have any children). And one day after the funeral about six months later, the woman who Kiliwiptop’s wife was pregnant. And then Mr. Ndumop asked to his daughter-in-low that "whom got you so that you are pregnant?" And she told him, "I got pregnant by my husband who had passed away. He comes to sleep with me every midnight ". Then, his father found a way to decided that this thing does not happen again.
Then the next day, he went down to a tributary named Mbawe, looking for fish. He started down from estuary, until the head of the estuary. And then, there were according to him it was the perfect place for him to make a cottage. Then he cut the grass which was around that place. After that, he made a cottage there, from the day time until afternoon. The next day, he would still continue to work remaining to complete. He made a very nice house, nothing can be known gap. After that, he took his bow and arrows the biggest pig.  And he took its fat and cut it up onto slices then he hung it in front of the door. While the other he wrapped and cooked then he cut up and put it on the rack. And the other one was he took and rubbing on every house-wall. After that, he returned to his home. And the next day, he told to his daughter-in-law (deceased wife) that as he had told before in orders that “this thing should not happen again”. Then, he made a commitment with daughter-in-law and told her that "if the spirit of your husband comes at night and wants to sleep with you, you should make a sign. And I would be known to get up and catch it".
Then the night has come, and they slept.  At night, the spirit of man comes and going to bed with his wife. But the woman got up, and woke her father-in-law   and told him that, her husband had come and wanted to sleep with her. Then Mr. Ndumop got up and took a rope and tied his son. And they slept even if until the sun shines in the morning.
Now on very early in the morning, Mr. Ndumop took his son and went down to the cottage that had been made by him before. Both of them went there. And when as soon as they arrived at their destination, his father orders him into the house, and take the available food in it and eat them. And at that time the son was eating, while his father came back to home. After he had eaten, he called his father and looked for him but he didn’t get him. He wanted to come out but the door cannot open end for him.
While the son crying and yelling. And the son decided to stay in that place. At that time, his father told him that "it is your place." And after that, his father went to the house for killed one of their dogs. When the dog had been killed by his father, the spirit of it went on to the cottage which where the man had lived. And the spirit it wanted came out but the door was not open for it. Then his father came there and asked "did your dog have come?"  "Yes, it does, my dog in here." answered the child .And his father went back to home again and killed his wife. Neither the spirit of dog nor his wife was same. And when his wife came there, he asked “did you come up with my father?" And said the wife "no, I did not, I came alone."
That is the firstly place where the spirit of both man, woman and their pet dog lived. And so that according to Wambon people confidence, if the person dies their soul/spirit will go to the place which name is Saup Anamtaop. So, it is the place of soul/spirit of people who death.
